July 15: Beads and Blooms

This week we are chatting about the summer bling. Our Beads and Blooms Collection is full of gorgeous finds that are perfect to wear on repeat during the long summer days and warm summer nights.

After working in the fashion industry for over two decades, I get it. Summer fashion is fun and fabulous but we often overlook or scale back on the jewelry and accessories because of the heat. I carefully put this collection together to help you look and feel your best while enjoying the pool and the patio.

For our passionate collectors and eager to learn jewelry lovers, we also have some outstanding pieces that you want to take a closer look at on the website and add to your collection.

Some notable finds this week include a gold chevron style necklace and bracelet set by Crown Trifari. A fun find because this design was also featured in Crown Trifari ads which were published in well-known fashion magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar in the 1950s.

A gorgeous pair of vintage Judy Lee Pressed glass earrings which include some very unique crescent-shaped, prong-set rhinestones.

A lustrous pearl and diamante beaded ball necklace. I personally love this one because it is an authentic vintage necklace that has for sure influenced recent designs from companies like JCrew and Ann Taylor, proving a classic never goes out of style.

A really gorgeous Victorian Floral Carved Jet necklace and earrings set by L.B. and Co. also known as Levison Brothers Jewelry Co. This company was active from 1859-1935 and was known for high-quality pieces made in gold, silver, quartz and agate. They were also highly regarded for their lapidary work that was done in house. Jewelry lovers and collectors will easily fall in love with the workmanship and details on this necklace and earrings set.

These are just a few of the highlights. The whole collection is outstanding and tons of fun, very easy to wear. None of the pieces are “dated” or out of style, they are perfect vintage treasures to wear with your modern-day life.
