DIY Ring Cones

DIY Ring Cones

To start you will need a few supplies:

Our supplies included Acrylic Paint, Painters Tape, a Paint Brush, and Small Wood Cones.

I found all the supplies at JoAnn Fabrics except the wood cones, which I ordered online through EtsyHere

For this project, I chose our VMM colors for the palette: silver, gold, and light blue.

Tape around the cone, and don’t worry about it being perfect.  (The ring cones actually look better when the paint job comes out a little rough.)  Now, paint from the line below, and let it dry in between coats.  We used two coats of paint and allowed 30 minutes of drying between coats.  Once finally dry after the second coat, remove the tape, andvoila! – you’ve created a one-of-a-kind gift.  It’s that easy.
