One size fits all. Ok, maybe that’s a bit dramatic, but it’s true:the jewelry always fits.

Make a Statement... How To Select Pieces That Fit

Statement jewelry can be overwhelming for women.  It’s big and bold, and while some women comfortably layer piece on top of piece, other ladies shy away from anything larger than a pencil top.  Wearing statement jewelry is actually a lot of fun –  it speaks style, making a statement without a word.  It attracts compliments, maybe even starting a conversation.  So, here are a few tips to selecting statement jewelry that fits.

Rings are my thing

Show me your rings! Engaged or married, a statement ring looks best on the right hand.  These bold accessories look best alone, but if you’re daring, try layering a few.  If you have short fingers, select a ring designed in a “north south style”.  Crafted to be oversized from top to bottom, these rings make your fingers appear elongated and elegant.  One of the best parts of vintage statement rings is that many are adjustable, meaning they can be worn on multiple fingers and can be easily adjusted for a comfortable fit.  You can shop some of our favorite adjustable statement ringshere:

A true statement piece looks best alone.  Solid color and clean lines make the piece pop.  If you are wearing a set or a grouping, pick styles that complement each other – for example, pieces of the same metal color.  When wearing coordinated pieces, give them a little “distance”.  Wear a bold necklace with a bold bracelet or ring, a cuff bracelet with matching earrings, and pull the look together by setting them apart.

Match Maker

Beautiful statement earrings can’t be missed – especially now that they’re summer’s hottest accessory.

When selecting a statement earring, choose pieces that balance your face shape.  If you have a short neck or round face, pick earrings that are mid length and linear, and try wearing your hair up.  For women with a long neck, choose something geometric or bold.  The perfect pair of earrings will instantly draw people to your face, so I suggest that you also pick a set that complement your eye color.

Neck in Neck

Statement necklaces are versatile, especially when you pair it with the right neckline.

Long necklaces go easily with tunics, tees, swing dresses, shift dresses, and more. Necklaces that can adjust from 16”-18” are perfect for v-necks and sweetheart necklines.  Strapless dresses look beautiful with choker or princess-length necklaces. Unsure of what the best necklace length is for you?
