What My Children Taught Me This Year

Today is the last day of school for all of our children.

Our Sophomore daughter, Victoria, finished school last week and today, Valerie (7th Grade soon to be 8th Grader) and Michael (kindergartner soon to be 1st Grader) have their last day, too.

While they got on the bus, it also popped up on FB that 3 years ago, I was featured as BossMom of the Week. This was quite an honor to me and it’s amazing to see how much my business has grown in three years, friendships through BossMom that have continued and how much my children have grown since then, too.

This morning started out as quite the reflection. So, I paused to write in my journal a few things I have learned and a few things I am grateful for, too.

Jump into life... even if it's with your clothes on...

It won’t be easy but it will be worth it.

Just take the shot.

Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.

Be aware; good teachers are everywhere throughout your whole life.

As the school year comes to a close, don’t forget to share with us what you have learned this year in the comments.

XOXO,
Veronica

Thank you so much for the kind kudos and shout out Veronica! I know that I speak for many who follow your blog, social media postings, and Vintage Meet Modern when I say we learn so much from you. You teach us about the amazing power of vintage jewelry and its ability transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Thank you for being such an inspiration to so many. You always tell us that when you look good you feel good and when you feel good you do good…you are so very right.
